Open to all beauty industry professionals who are required to use make up in their career or craft. Please identify your makeup artist category below and provide credentials required for your category to receive approval for your discount.

COSMOTOLGY, AESTHETICIAN LICENSE or MAKEUP ARTIST GRADUATE / 20%

• Current proof of license or MUA diploma from an Accredited Makeup School
  (out of the state or the country may take longer for approval)
• Current photo ID.
• Instagram page showing proof of work (accept LMI friend request).

FREELANCE MAKEUP ARTIST / 20%

• Business card with your name.
• Website or agency website name on agency roster (if you are employed by an agency, a letter from the agency is required to verify proof of employment).
• Instagram page showing proof of work (accept LMI friend request).
• Current photo ID.

PRODUCTION, THEATRE, SHOW ARTIST/ 20% (provide one of the following)

• IMBD credit for Makeup & current photo ID (within year).
• Current paycheck stub from current employer & current photo ID.

Please submit required physical documents as stated on this page. An LMI official will make copies. If you do not have a physical document, email copies to info@lmakeupinstitute. In the subject line, write “Applicant for Discount” and your name and attached the document.

All applicants are subject to approval. Applicants will receive a letter of approval via email.
